Privacy

Game Theory Games is a free educational site. Play does not require an account you create. This page describes what is stored and why.

Play sessions

The first time you play, the site signs you in anonymously with Firebase Authentication so the server can score the match. Moves and payoffs are written by Cloud Functions, not by your browser. Anonymous history stays on this browser unless you choose Save my games.

Google sign-in

Optional Google sign-in keeps a history across devices and is required to create classroom experiments. We use your Google account to identify you to Firebase. We do not post to Google on your behalf.

Classrooms

Students can join with a code. A name or student ID is optional. If provided, it is visible to the instructor (roster and CSV), not to other students unless the instructor turns on partner-name reveal.

Analytics

If analytics is enabled for this deployment, Firebase Analytics records coarse events such as starting a game. It is not used to sell ads or personal data.

Questions: see the games.
